They listened to PoTter Sinclair describe the preP3ration made for entering the Flying Scotchman In last year's Bermuda Race. Members and guests, making up a n audience of 125, listened · with 1·apt attention, while Mr. Sinclair gave an amusing, intimate and highly exciting description of all Bermuda races. and that is con- sidered one of' the toughest of all blue water sailing races in any year. Mr. Sinclair told all the thmgs you don't usually hear from re- turned skippers, the tittle things and the big things, the funny thin~s and very serious things, which go to make up a thrilling expt'rience. He told the members that detailed preparation is vi tal, and urged Squadron members never to discount the value of the things they learn in their courses. constantlf lmproved and has seen an average of 200 men and women attendina each year.
