After spending the past few
wC'eks reading tackle catalogs.
wrapping rods. overhauling reels
and putting new feat hers on our
fa,orite jigs. we finally got out
on the watPr. Along with Bill
Tobias of Corona del Mar and
Oscar Goetz and ~rt M.ills of
Balboa Coves. we took off on
&rt's Lama Pat. The bait was
fine. the.> weather ~feet. our
total catch 1 halibUt. 1 scuJpin.
2 sandabs. 4 calico bass (-over 12
a few barracuda taken last Sat-
in.! and 1 staTflsh. There were
urday, but Sunday's wind seems
to have stopped them.
