The City of Newport Beach is indeed fortunate to have a citizen
of his caliber offer his services to the City as a Councilman.
Mr. Lorenz has shown keen interest in the betterment of our
City. He believes in economy in our City Government in order
to keep our taxes down. His untiring efforts on committees, such
as the water raervoir campaign and the Citizens Advisory
Committee, give evidence of an active interest in civic affairs
and good government that is above and beyond the call of duty.
He hcia participated Wwitlfiahly and energetically in the develop-
ment Of the Community Youth Center, and he ia second to none
in contribution. of JDODey and materials for this worthy project.
