ona del Mar, with its minutely prepared miniature vil-
lages, 1galn has won the County Coast Assn. award for
best cooperative neighborhood group In the '" 0 Miles of
Christmu Smiles" decorating contest. This scene, in
front of the Wilbur 'Tool residence, shows Santa about to
take off on his annual trip. Among the buildings are a
post Dffice, church and pr~nting office, and there's a sagn
that says, ''"Weather report: Fog along coasts; use Ru-

A resolution for 196-4 for patriots: Let us not panic Of
despair at the growing attacks against conservatives. Let
us resolve to remain steadfast in our faith, and to remain
ttue to the ideal of American patriotism, wh ich is the con-
viction that our country is a Christian nation, a constlt~
tional republic with a free enterprise, capitalistic econ-
omy, the only hope for preservinq individual liberty and
defeating Godless communism.
Against the peddling of hate and maligning of patriots,
we need to offer only truth, patience, perseverance, and
faith. For who can doubt the ultimate triumph when truth
and falsehood grapple?
Looking toward the New Year with hope, let us make a
restatement of princ•ple to guide our actions. and to set
an example. Here are words to I ive by:
