THE REBIRTH OF PATIUOnSII
As you mi~t guess, material from this Page 2 of the En-

any more like-minded than publisher Don Carpenter of the
Montrose Ledger. Here is a real gem from last week's Led-

This is the time that a II men of Good
Will gather in their Houses of Worship to
acknowledge the Resurrection of their lord
in their own way.
Efforts to remove the "image" of Ameri-
ca and the appellation we have created
by our acknowledgement of "Creator'' and
"Supreme Being " are continuing. There are
those who would rewrite our Constitution
and its "Bill of Rights" which guarantees
ou r FREEDOM TO WORSHIP and FREEDOM
O F RELIGION.
There are many in all walks of life,
many in high places, who would subvert
the foundation writings and principles of
our country and substitute a doctrine of
"FREEDOM FROM WORSHIP and FREEDOM
FROM RELIGION."
All men of Goodwill should ioin to-
gether in the house of Worship of their

choice, on Easter Sunday, whether it be
a church, the quiAt area on the end of the
pier with the organ tones of God's sea
rising and swelling, or on top of one of
the thousand hi II s of our coastline with
the breeze rustling up a sonnet, or in a
valley where the daisies dwell. All men of
Goodwill should pause for a time on this
Holy Day for a fervent Prayer that all
people of kindred thoughts and inclination
will be guided straight away to aid, pro-
ted, and defend, the worthy efforts . of
this Nation we all love, and its people who
have made it -great.
Let us all in this wondrous community,
blessed so bountifully by a generous crea-
tor, pledge ourselves anew to restore the
dignity of this Holy Week at Eastertime. Let
us all pledge ourselves to eliminate any
reference to Hell Week.
Just as there have been efforts to re-
move "CHRIST" from CHRIST MAS so have
there been efforts to eliminate the religious
meaning and symbols from this Holy Sea-
son and substitute "Spring Vacation."
""'-\
This is the time of Resurrection, let
us all in this small community RESURRECT
the true meanings of our Constitution, the
true meanings of our Country, which was
founded prayerfully by men of Good Will
of many faiths ioined together to defend
your FREEDOM OF FAITH, RELIGION and
WORSHIP.
If there are doubts and doubters look
about you. See the buds of spring raising
from the cold earth of winter and darkness
to renew their cheer for all to observe the
gifts of He who has given all.
