INFIA110N! Had occas-
ion to spend a rew days in
the district between Long
Beach, Compton, Hunting-
ton Park, South Gate, Cle~
water, etc. and was amazed
and wotounded at the mlllians
of dollars being poured into
development in that one sec-
tion or Southern California
alone. U that be inflation,
then some or the shrewd op-
erators who are investing
their money in the faith of
the Southland will be out on
a limb. Atlantic Avenue is
certainly goitlg to town and
one new theater in that re-
gion, called The Towne is as
magnificent as any Los An·
geles or HoUywood play-house. In that same section a high class subdivision, said to be similar to Westwood, is
wuler way.
But t hat is just a drop in
• the bucket or progress, be-
cause as you proceed along
the boulevards you note ex-
pansion and construction on
every hand. U tha.t insur-
ance executive rrom the east

tate was innated, noted what

rename that territory P.ara-

do with Newport Harbor!
Well, mainly. the teeming
thousands who are locating
in that locale wiU turn with
almost one accord to this
