the doctor comes
Emergencies strike with
sudden swiftnn.s. A slip,
a fall, a collision is seldom
announced. So be prepared. At leas1 one mm1ber
of every family should have a working knowkdge
of first aid. There are books on the subJCCt and
the American Red Cross g111es clas5e5 whc:rt: such
information and training can be acquired. We
recommend that you. or someo~X in your house-
hold , acquire the know·how. Another worthy
rcc:ommendation is to mainta.n a supply ·of tint-
aid medications on hand at all tunes-antiseptic,
p.uze bandaacs, adhesive ~.ape. alcohol. soothin&
creams, etc. The cost is small and we'll be &Jad
to assi.st you in your selection.

and for all people. Christ Hinuelf ia the
Saviour of the World. The Heavenly Father
aent Him for this reason (John 3:16).
The Lord God promised us a Saviour and
told ua how He would come. Fi~ He would
pre~re for Him • body : "Wherefore when be
cometh into the world, be aaitb, Sacrifice and
olerin1 thou wouldeet not. but a body hut
thou prepared me" (Heb. 10:5). Further u
the virJin·bom Son of God. He wu to be "the
seed of the woman" (Gen. 3:15). He wu to
come into this world u a "child born and a
Son siveh" {Isaiah 9 :6). At His fint coming,
He wu to fulfill Isaiah 61 :1,2 and in Luke
4:18-21 He said, "This day is this Scripture
fulfilled in your ears."
After the Lord Jesus came into this world
and paid the price of man's redemption, He
returned to Heaven from whence He came
and sat down on the right band of God (Mark
16:19). So we know that the Man at God's
right hand is none other than our Saviour.
The Psalmist uid: "Let thy band be upon the
man of thy right hand, upon the son of man

Numbers '
NUMBERS is the 4th Book of the Old Tes-
tament. It has 36 chapters and is so call~
ed because it relates the numbering of the
people of Israel on two occasions. The
first was at Sinai in their second year in
the wi lderness, and the other just before
the death of Moses in the fortieth yeor. In
brief, it is the story of the wilderness
wanderings,· and it is rich in fragments
of ancient poetry, some of them of great
beauty. The first census showed 603,550
moles above the age of 20, exclusive of

Because these peopl, were very discOura
aged by a spy's report when they were
within sight of the Promised Land, they
turned bock. Thus, Caleb and Joshua were
the only men over 20, from omong ·over
600,000, who went forward and lived to
enter Canaan. Even meek, patient Moses
was not permitted to go and realize his
one life-time dream. The author is Moses,
