t.au11:-they have been uf110d1Y and •idled. God demands a c:Nrce In their
chat'Kter before He ceulves them. -This is not true. The fifth ~ of the fourth
of Romani itefinitely says thalt ... "God justifies the uneoc:tty .t\o belifte."
What then does God ask an utl£0dly sinner to do? First of all, nothina:; tNt
is. to ce.se from absolutely all effort to save himself. For the verse uys, "To him
thet worketh not." A man is a.-ed simply to .ccept God's verdict about hi~
that he is ungodly unrishteous, and unable to save himself. Second, Kcept the
~essed news that God Himself has already reckoned his sins and uneodlines.s to
another Person. that is, to Christ, His Son; and that, because the punishment of
sin was death, Jesus has IJ:r God's appointment dted, has shed His ~ood In the
sinner's place. "The Lord laid on Him (Jesus) the iniqu ity of us all." (lsat.h 53.:6)
Christ died for our sins,-that is, instead of our dyina for them. (Duth here rne.ns
banishment from God under a curse; and Christ bHrinc our sins was f()I"Mken on
the cross as accursed of God. Matthew 27:46; Gllatians 3:111
Now when an unsoclly man finds these two areal truths; first, that he is utterly
suilty and unable to help himself; and second. tl\aot Jesus Christ has already borne
sin, 1n his place. by God's appointment; and when this unsocUy man just accepts
these facts and trusts this Saviour, whom God ra ised from the dead to be trusted,
this unsoc111 man is saved then and there; that is-God for1ives and justifies him on the baSIS of the price already paid,-the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son
of God.
Do you believe this? Of, are you still tryinc to reform yourselt,-promisins your-
self that you will do better, and merit God's favor thus?
Why do ~ not believe what God says: By deeds of ri&hteousness shall no flesh be just•fied In God's sight? (Romans 3:20, Titus 3:5.}
listen to the Gospel: ''To him th.t worketh not, but belteveth on Him that
justif ieth the ungodly, his faith is reckOR@CI for ri&hteousness." (Romans 4:5.}
Th is is "J.ood news," indeed.Every sinner in the world could have this salvation,
if he were Wlllin&. this moment. let everyone who wants Christ claim Him at once.
As a sinner claim the Saviour God has appointed for sinneB, as very own Saviour
this moment. He sees your heart. Trust Him now as 10UJS; and lo, He is yours!

OUT FROM THEM
BY BILLY GRAHAM ,_ o.ct•"-.............. m. Ml••..,..l•• All three American television networks and
hundreds of independent television sta~
tions are now frar.tically searching for mot ion
pictures. The ratings indicate that motion piC-
tures outpull all other types of programs. The
television industry is almost out of great movies.
It is reaching the bottom of the barrel and is
giving, \be, America,n public a view of violeDCe,
. aadiam and sex. ejaht in .oue. Ut.~ing rooms. Such
pictures u Never on Sundo.lf; Tom Jonea and
Bltnvup are shown as family entertainment.'' .....
Motion pictures are being televised that only
art thea ters would show a few months ago. This
departure of the ·television industry from the
accepted code and customs of the past poses a
serious moral problem for the Christian. The
Bible teaches that the Christian is to be in the
wo rld but not of the world. Yet thousands of
Christian parents are caught up in a dilemma,
finding themselves a nd thei r children feeding
upon the violence and sex thrust right into their
homes by the television screen. It takes diScipline
to get up and turn off the televh"ion in the midst
of a fasc·inating program. Many Christian par-
ents have given up the struggle.
In 2 Co rinthians 6:17 the Apostle Paul writes,
"("orne ou t from among them, and be ye sepa-
rate, saith the Lord." Relatively few clergymen
today preach Re rmons on the subject of &epa-
ration. yet throughout the New Testament, both
in the GosPels and the Letters, we are taught that
as Christians we are to be separated from the
evils of this present world system. ,
The word that is translated "world" most
often in the New Testamen t is the Greek word
kwmtO.'t. J es us said that Satan was the prince of
this kottm ott, or world system. This means that
Satan has organized the world of unbelieving
mankind upon his evil principles of force, greed,
.selfishness, ambition and pleasure. The world
system is imposing and powe rful. It is often out-
wa rdly religious, scientific, cul t ured and elegant ;
but underneath. it is seething with national and
commercial rivalries and ambitions. In any real
crisis it is upheld only by anned force.
Separation, as spoken of in the Bible, is two-
fold . Fir8t, it means to be oppoeed to whatever
is contrary to the mind of God; and second it
is unto God himself. The Bible teaches further
that we are to be aeparated from false teachers
who are described aa "veuels to dishonor" (2
Timothy 2 :20).
The Bible doea not teach that we are to be
separated from contact with evil in the world
or even in the church, but we are to be aepa·
rated from complacency with and conformity to
it. Je&u s Christ ia to be our model. He waa holy,
blameleu, undefUed, eeparate from sinnen. Yet
he waa in auch contact with people for their
oalvotion thot the reli~ou• leaden of thlt clay
denounced him u fellowahipinl' with winebib-
