Programme
Henri Temianka, violinist, will
be the·featured artiste at the con-
cert to be given in the auditor-
ium of the Newport Harbor Union
High school on Friday evening,
February 28, beginning at 8:15
o'clock.
He recently appeared as soloist
in all three perf~ con-
ducted at the Bach festival in Los
Angeles and some time ago he ap-
peared with Serge Prokofieff in
Russia at the invitation of the
Soviet eovernment.
He was featured in all of the
Beethoven Festival sonatas spon-
sored i~ Washington, D. C. His ca-
reer began at the age of 7 when he
startled\ the Dutch press at Rot-
. terdam }'-'ith his music.
Owens was said to have 'made
a1 statement for the poUee early

when he retired the night before there was nothing wrong about
the house.
He is said to ~ve stated that
he awoke in a stupor on Tuesday
