traffic lights be lrurtalled through the entire length of
Corona de! Mar--<!ynchronized to allow traffic to proceed at
30 milea per hour or slower if desired.

sections of the Coast Highway in Southern California and

time operation of ships. Thousands of men, both young
and old have been taught how to properly operate a mer-
chant vessel in rough seas and in smooth. They have been
told and taught through actual demorurtration how to swim
through water covered with burning oil; bow to care for
