way or walk. It must have taken a great deal of courage,
and a vast and ,nlll!haken confidence in the future.
The Pavilion has been a landmark of Newport Harbor
for many years. It has brought fame to Newport Harbor
too. So it la with a feeling of regret that news of Its sale
and with it the liquidation of the Newport Bay Investment
Coa!pany, which controlled it for many years, is received.
l\len who have directed the destinies of the Pavilion for
more th&D' {() ~ !lave done a good job. •
W'rth the advent of a new ownership there la always
the fMling that new blood has been injected. It is some-
what like a transfusion. ·It gives people renewed vigor and
new promise.
