CertaJn tt la the two former have

looked up Harold Fink and found
he had been i professional boAt

spent in the U.S. Navy) and had
been painting and doing general

all that time. "Dick" Dixon has
been steadJly yacht radng and
ship painting for 20 yea.rs, Heyer
hu been at it professionally for
30 years and Smith, the baby of
the quartet. for 15 years .
As stated before there are other
fine painters around. but we be-
lieve that these four are unique
in their DMOciation (they are their
ou.'n paint department) and also in
the fact that they work together
in the biggest shipyard in New-

Councilmen Vote
Selves Free Golf Play
(From San Clemente Sun}
When a city eounci.lm.an plays
~lt at the municipal course It wifl
hereafter be on official business.
That was the decision of council-
men Wednesday night when they
voted that they need not pay the
regular green tee any longer.
Since the councilmen do not
receive any renumeration for their ·
services to the dty it wu felt
that they •could at least play golf
for nothing.
Previously the only WRY a coun-
cilman could pl~ golf free wu
by being an ex'-coundlman. The
action of the council brought con-
siderable kidding and laughs from
the lobby. Oty Attorney B. Z.
McKinney declared that the only
way for a councilman to inspect
the course wu to play over It
and thus he was acting in an offi-
dal capacity and should get his
game for "nothing."

ure for Sunset Beach to become
a city.
Directors of the association de-
clare that present population
figures, the believed certainty of
large growth in the future and
the need for home government
are all reasons for incorporating
the community as a dty.
Surfside Colony and the Mead-
owlark Village district lying on
the bluff north of Sunset Beach
are lncluded ln tentative diacus-
sioos of proposed areas to be
bounded by the projected city
limits.
Auociation leaders estaimate
the population within this area
to be approximately 4500 persona.
