The Issue
All candidates are against sin.
All candid.ates are honest. economical and effl.
cient. Those are stock phrases of every political
statement.
That leaves only one issue in this campaign for
election of a State Senator. Which candidaU! can
do the most for Orange county at Sacramento!
Any informed person knows the answer-Sam L.
Collins, speaker of t he Legislature for the last 12
, sessions; member of the State Board of Pulillc
Works: member of the Board of Regents, Univer-
sity of California; vice-chairman or the J oint· In·
terim Committee to study highways; member of
the Jolnt Interim Commlttee on AgrlcWture.
µ<
That gtws the llDllwt!l" clearly. Every !nf0.me4
pei,;on knows the advantage to Orange county of
Sam Collins' high position in state government.
Which candidate can do the most? The question Is
already answered by Sam L. Collins' record of
achievement. State Senator
