No Olive Trees (fruitless or otherwise) would be permissible. They can install them on their private property. Also, it
looks as though one of the existing Camphors will need to be replaced by them (see Google Maps photo). The ROW
space provided should only accommodate a maximum of three trees. They can replace the dead tree and add another
tree (from our City list - attached).

Contract came in for an encroachment permit to install items in the public right of way (walkway, decorative mailbox,
curb drains, etc). They are also requesting to install 3 fruitless olive trees within the parkway. There are already 2 city
trees in the parkway that are to be retained. So a total of 5 trees will be in the parkway along the project frontage. I
told them that the 3 additional trees would be unlinkely but that I would ask. Please let me know if the 3 additional
olive trees are ok within the right of way. Thanks
