Invitations for the Fourth Biennial Soiree d' Art will
begin arriving in the home5 of prospective guests this
week. The gala art auction. sponsored by the Newport
Harbor Auxiliary to the Children's Home Society, will
be held &lay 17 in Irvine Coast Country Club.
Occurring only once each two years, the event pro-
vides an opportunity for Auxiliary friends to add to their
own art collections and at the same time contribute to
lhe statewide adoptive program of the Society.
Appropriately enough, the invitaLlons have been
"designed by an artist, Yvonne Cherry of Laguna Beach,
Reservations will be limited lo 300 people.
Popular auctioneers from the last Soiree, John Scott
Trotter and Robert Guggenheim Jr. will again preside
