PROCEDURE FOLLOWED BY PLANNING C(1M USS ION:
Notice of public hearing s duly published in the Newport Harbor News Prese
on March 25, 196€3. Dee pu61ic hearing was conducted on ,April 7, 1960.
FINDINGS OF PLANNING CONMISSION:
The Co issfon, upon a review of the application and after a physical =amina-
tion of the 3ub,ject property, recommuds to the City Council that thio applica-
_i.on be denied for the following, reasons:
1. To rezone this one parcel would be "spot zoning."
2. There is no c,7mmerclal zone abutting Second Avenue in Corona del Mar
and the Cc ission felt that if this application were approved it
would set a precedent for other petitions to rezone.
R,ECOMENDATIONS OF Pi.EsldPdING COMISSI-UN:
The Planning Commission recommends to the City Co€ancil, that A ndmeat No. 86
filed by Charles E. Pack, Trustee, be denied for the reasons set forth above.
