RESOLUTION NOV,�
A RESOLUTION APPROVING MAP SHOWING PORTION
OF A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF NEWPORT
BEACH PROPOSED TO BE VACATED, CLOSED UP, AND
ABANDONED.
AREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Newport Beach
ihas presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach a
certain map showing a portion of.a oertain street which the Oity
,of Newport Beach proposes to vaoate, close up, and abandon, and
!known as Ocean Front, and described as follows, to -wit:
A parcel of land 15 feet in width, being a portion
of Ocean Front, as shown upon a map of Seashore
Colony Tract, recorded in Miscellaneous Maps, Book
7, page 25, records of Orange County, California,
and more paxticularly described as follows, to -wit:
Beginning at the most southerly corner of Lot 1,
Block L of said Seashore Colony Traot; thence,
northwesterly along the northeasterly line of said
Ocean Front to the most westerly corner of Lot 2
of said Seashore Colony Tract; thence, southwesterly
along the southwesterly prolongation of the north-
westerly line of said Lot 2, said point lying in a
line parallel with and distant 15.00 feet measured
at right angles from said northeasterly line of
Ocean Front; thence, southeasterly along said para -1 -
lel line to its intersection with the southwesterly
prolongation of the southwesterly line of said Lot
1; thenoe, northeasterly along said line of prolonga-
tion to the point of beginning,
IOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that said map be, and the
same is hereby approved, and the City Clerk of the City of Newport
.Beach is ordered and directed to file the same in the proceedings
for the abandonment of a portion of said straet , and that said map
!be used in connection with the Resolution of Intention this day
1 passed in referenoe to the abandonment of said street*
The above and foregoing Resolution Nc was passed at
a. _regular meeting of the City Counoil of the City of Newport Beach,
held on the 22nd day of April, 1946, by the following vote, to-wito
