Regulatory agencies have issued permits for the project including approval of the Coastal
Development Permit by the California Coastal Commission on July 13, 2017. At that time,
the Coastal Commission also reaffirmed the CEQA finding for the project. Construction
is expected to start this summer and be substantially complete in the Fall. Staff is
expecting to work closely with the regulatory agencies during the construction and
anticipates the need for professional biological monitoring which will be performed under
a separate agreement.

Projects) and Section 15304 (Class 4 Minor Alterations to Land) of the CEQA Guidelines,
because it has no potential to have a significant effect on the environment.
