cupancy rate of 63.3 percent, up
from 58.5 percent a year ago.
On the oth er hand, average
room rates continue to decline, ac-
cording to the PKF report. The av-
ernge room rate in the airport area
was $72.08 in April, down from
$73.63 1n April 1992, and the ycar-
to-date avera~c of $74 . .55 is down
