By Mantil Mcleod, ~ Wrllt
COST A MESA -Residents
in the area of Canyon Drive
and Wilson Street have had a
touJh row to hoc. Since June,
it has been like 1 mountainous
trek for fKOple who must
endure that West Side
intersection, tumbling over torn
up asphalt and dirt·p3ved
thoroua,hfares.
But the rocky road may soon
become a prominent
promenade as city workers fill
in the street. And not a minute too soon. ·
"I do have a four-wheel
d rive, so it docs come in handy
now," said Patti Meader, who
lives half a block from the
construction. ''The only thing I
could complain about is that
they arc doing wtlson and
Placentia at the same time. I
still have to go through
construction no matter wh31 "
