began piano lessons 11 age 3. By
age 12 he won a sta1ewkte piano
competition in New Jersey and
repracnted the slate a1 the 1964
World's Fair.
He went on to earn a
bachek>r's degree in mustc and a
master's dcaree in educational
administration.
