a decade of legal wrangling, it 1p-

reached between 1he Pacific Am-
phitheatre and some 39 residents
who filed su it over noise viola·
lK>ns.
But some residents say they arc
insulted by former amphi1hca1cr
owner Ned WcSl's proposal 10
oompcnsa.IC them for yen.rs of
noise with conccn tickets.
Under lhc terms of the pro-
posed settlement, which will go la
Orange County Superior Court
Feb. 2. 39 residents who active ly
participated in crcatins the class
action suit 1gai1Ut Ned West, a
major concert promoting company,
will receive roughly SJ.SOO each.
