having sexual relations with his
teen-age daughter.

fast-moving fire caused about
$160,000 worth of damage and
briefly trapped a res\dent and
her pet inside a house at 1220
Londonderry on Wednesday
evening.

began in the garage and quickly
spread to the adjoining home
The owner of the house, 61
year-old Leah Taylor, and hP1
dog were rescued by firefighter,

fills the gap because the volunteer
reads to the entire class, then reads
one·on-one with a few students who
need individual attention, she said.

ty with large chapters in Los Angeles .

trying to get its Orange County chap-
ter off the ground, said Aruta Price,
the Orange County volunteer coordi-_

fighters arrived at the scene, the

It took a crew of 27 firefight-
. ers well over an hour to kill the
blaze. Huguerun said a 4-inch
space between the metal roofing
and the wood shingles made 11
difftcult for firefighters to reach
the flames. ·
