ing out how to win (at the state
meet),· Sumner said. "I'll never
yet a Coach of the Year Award,
because I'm expected to win
every year: But how do you gel
better when you lose by one
point? The girls have already
(improved enough to win). I've
asked them to get better and they
got better; I've asked them to try
harder and they tried harder.
Now, it's starting to figure out
how we can wm this thing."
The Sea Kings, for most of the
eason. figured out they could run
with anybody.
