In his first year as head coach, •
he wants to end the Sea View
league slump which has plagued
the Sea Kings for three years. But
to accomplish this goal, Evans will
have to get a group of mostly
mexperienced players to play sol·
id, ball-control offense before the
league opener a t El Toro Jan. 8.
•From what I've been told, we
haven't won a league game m the
last three years,• Evans said. •I
-do know we've won a few presea-
son games. I want to change all of

mg from varsity, it's going to be a
difficult task. Evans was also
without a sixth:period physical
education class until the second
· quarter of school. so pracllces
started later than he would have
