Hogan and fellow Tuesday com-

They said three of the seniors
who voted were not there to play

Hogan and bet friends say that
Mills1 who ha> been collecting

Rumor has it that one of the rea-

to take over is because he gets a

71-year-old bingo player Kathleen

58.23.

"What makes Aaron so great is

In the 500-yard freestyle, Peir-
sol qualified filth at 4:37 .48. The
top eight swimmers from each
event will move on to compete
tonight at 6:30 in the Division l
Finals.
Peirsol also anchored both the
200 and the 400 free relays for the
Sailors. Newport Harbor was 10th
in the 200 (l :30.97) and fifth in the
400 (3;23,0) .
Peter Belden, lt}tan Gough and
'
Ryan Lean teamed up with Peir·
sol for the 400. Joey Snelgrove
swam for Lean in the 200. '
Lean qualified for the CIF con-
solation meet in the 500 at
4:43.71, good for 12th place. "1
was very happy with the way he
swam today,• Kreutzkamp said.
• 1t will be nice seeing hlm swim-
ming tomorrow.•
For Corona del Mar, the Sea
Kings ran into some tough luck,
but Coach Jon Moore was happy
with the effort and results from
the season.
"Our goals were to qualify last
week (for the Sea View League ·
Fina.ls),• Moore said. "We were
on our tinies today for the most
part. It was g reat just to be here
·and with a majority of our guys
coming back, this will be a valu-
able experience for us.•
Advancing to the CIF consola-
tions were senior Jason Palda Ul
the 100 back (58.23), and the 400
free relay team (3:24.6).
Corona del Mar's 200 free and
medley relay teams bad the
biggest disappointment. &>th
groups were disqualified in each
event. "Apparently somebody
;timped early on each one,·
Moore said. "The bad thing was
we might have been able to qual-
ify in the 400 if we didn't get
dq'd."
