Despite hundreds of private
boats crowding Newport Harbor
for an up-dose glimpse of the
Christmas Boet Perede, herbor
patrol offidals said Sunday that
this year the waters have mostly
remained calm.
The annual floating tradition
featuring boa.ts of all sizes
decked out for the holidays
attracts thousands of onlooker&
to the island shores and bay-
front vantage points.
