Jameton joined Oet
Taco founder Ed Hack·

1965. In 1966, they lncor·
p0rated the company,

Red·E Foods Systems, to
help franchise the restau·
rants.
They sold the compa·
ny In 1975. Jameson may
have bffn involved with
the com pany even after
that sale, but It is not
dear how or to what

Jameson is also credit·
ed with the design of the
Del Taco restaurant
building in the mid·
1970s. she said.

native. received his eco-
nomics degree from the
University of Redlands.
He married Penny Wick·
ett in 1959, and they

Newport Beach and
Corona del Mar.
After a divorce. Jame-
son moved to Oregon,
. where he founded
Jamie's Great Hamburg-
ers.
He is survived by sons
Christopher, Peter and
Robert Jameson; daugh-
ters Jennifer Moffitt,
Wendy Jameson and
Susie Hopper; brother
Walter·Jameson; siSter
Ann Dunham; and nine
grandchildren.
A memorial service
was held in ~ugene on
Dec. 4. The service will be
held at 2 p.m. Dec. 28 at
the First Baptist Church
in Corona A private
interment will follow at
Sunnyslope Cemetery In
Corona.
