Ramblings on my son and th e car
I 'v<' been off the tracks
since Saturday. Run
aground and out of sorts
Drifting on the backwatN
It's what happens to me
when a nuny of random
thinking and fretting and
realizing invades me like a
swarm of rues on a gooey
Louisiana afternoon.
I'm mired in this head stu-
por, should you care,
because of the car. It wasn't
here Friday, and so all was
placid and fine. But now il
luru -sardonic and beck-
oning -outside my house.
It's here to take my boy away
from me. And this is what it's
like to have your heart
draW1:1 and qumtered.
