HomeMy WebLinkAbout00 - Non-Agenda - HandoutsFord Motor Company is conducting an environmental investigation around the former Ford Aeronutronic facility
which operated from 1957 to 1993 at 1000 Ford Road. Prior to redevelopment, the site was remediated and received
required approval for residential development from regulators. Recently, the Santa Ana Regional Water Quality Control
Board has requested that additional environmental testing be conducted in accordance with today's more stringent
regulatory standards. Work involves sampling in public rights-of-way and testing indoor air and beneath building
foundations for volatile organic compounds. We have set up an information line and website to provide more information and
welcome your calls and questions.
