Subject: Public Comments: Study Session Agenda Item SS4
Attached is a letter of appreciation from the Corona del Mar Residents Association to Chief Lewis and the
Newport Beach Police Department acknowledging our appreciation of the NBPD's diligence in bringing the
O'Keefe case to a successful close after so many years.
We are truly grateful to live in a community that places such a high priority on the protection of human life and
bringing criminals to justice.
On behalf of the Corona del Mar Resident's Association, we greatly appreciate the efforts of the police
department over the past 46 years to bring justice to Linda O'Keefe and her family.
We expect to read these comments into the public record during the Study Session on February 26.
