History
On January 23, 2018, City Council directed staff
to address the residential parking impact resulting
from construction activity
2. On April 24, 2018, City Council held a study session
with staff proposing some possible ideas
3. Late 2018, Staff met with residents to get their input
on how to address the parking impacts

What We Heard from Residents
1. Lack of parking enforcement
2. Lack of notification and communication from builders
3. Builders have no consideration for the neighbors
4. Implement a parking permit program for builders

What We Heard from Local Builders
Limiting Saturday work allows workers to rest
1. Delays in construction are problematic for property owners
3. Parking impacts will fluctuate with economy
4. Limiting number of permits for trades

5. Shortage of labor delaying projects

Staff Recommendations:
