City Hall,Newport Beach,Cal.June 18th,1914.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach met in special
session,persuant to a call of President W.B.Parkinson.
The call was read,after the meeting was called to order by the
President; showing that themeeting was convened at 2.30 P.M. date
and place above shown,for the purpose of considering the matter of
securing an easement from the Pacific Electric over ten feet of their
right og way-from 30th street to the westerly'limits,for street
purposes: Also to take action in the matter of further extension of
liquor licenses issued to the executor of the West estate.

President Parkinson statee that the right of way for the County
coast road was now practically secured between Huntington Beach
and Newport Beach and that some action to produce a passable street
to the west city limits was needed. after due discussion and
consideration of the matter it was decided to formally request of
tge Pacific Electric an easement over a strip ten feet wide on the
southerly side of their right of way.Such a request was drafted
and on motion of trustee H.A.Robinson seconded by trustee G.P.Wilson
and carried the President of the Board was authorized to sign same
for the city,same to be attested by the clerk.
In the matter of the extension of the liquor licenses of the Bayview
Wine and liquor,transferred to the executor of the Ed West Estate.
It was moved by trustee G.P.Wilson,seconded by trustee S.R.Jumper
and carried,that extension be made to closing time Monday June 22nd,
1914.
All the business mentioned in the call having been attended to
adjournment was taken.
