The following election board was appointed to serve at the
Special Bond Election to be held on March 23, 1922.

On motion of Trustee Schnitker seconded by Trustee Burke and
carried, the communication from the Women's Civic League in regard tol
public toilet was referred to the Street Department.
On motion of Trustee Schnitker seepnded by Trustee Burke and
carried, the invitation of the Balboa Chamber of Commerce to attend a'
banquet at the Yacht Club next Friday evening was accepted, the membe�s
of the Council and their wives to attend in a body.
On motion of Trustee Schnitker seconded. by Trustee Burke andl
carried, the Clerk v;as instructed to advertise for bids for a sufficient
amount of lumber to replace the old lturber taken up on the Hain Steee't
wharf and which was unfit to put back dorm as the contract called for!.

On motion of Trustee Burke seconded by,Trustee Schnitker and!
carried, the meeting adjourned to 7:30 o'clock P. on Monday,
February 20, 1922.

The Board of Trustees of the City of 'ievrport Beach met in
adjourned session_ at 7:30 o'clock P. ?. on above date. The meeting
was called to order by President Greeley.
The roll was called as follows: Present Trustees Greeley,
Wilson, Richter, Burke. Absent, Trustee.J. J. Schnitker.
Reading of minutes was dispensed with.
The communications were read and referred to the prtper-
order of business.

ORDINANCE No. 194, entitled as follows:
"An Ordinance of the City of .?ewport Beach by the
legislative branch thereof, to -wit: the Board of Trustee
ordering the submissicn'to the qualified voters of the
City of Tewport Beach the proposition of incurring a
bonded debt for each of the purposes set forth in
Resolution No. 152 of the said City, calling a special
election for that purpose, reciting the objects and
purposes for which the indebtedness is to be incurred,
the estimated cost of the proposed public-improvement,
the amount of the principal of- the indebtedness to be
incurred therefor, and fixing a maximum rate of interest

o be paid on said indebtedness, fixing the day on which such special
lection shall be held, the manner of holding such election, and the
oting for or against incurring such indebtedness, and providing
hat in all particulars not recited in this Ordinance, such election

came up for final action, was read and considered; the roll was
alled and the Ordinance passed by the vote of the following named

Noes, Trustees None.
Absent, Trustee J. J. Schnitker.
Ordinance No. 194 having been passed by the vote of two -thir
more of all the members of the Board of Trustees, was signed and
oved by the President thereof.
It was moved by Trustee Vlilson seconded by Trustee Burke that
e Citi* Engineer be instructed to prepare plans and proceedings for
e construction of lateral sewers in the dlleys northerly of Central
enue from F Street to L Street, and the same was carried by the
flowing vote, to -wit:
Ayes, Trustees Greeley, Wilson, Burke.
Noes.. Trustees None.
Absent, Trustees Schnitker, Richter.
