3urke and carried, the communication from A. W. Jackson in regard to
putting the ladder on the tee instead of the middle of the ;Main Street
'::harf at Balboa, was placed in the hands of the City Engineer with
power to act. {

for bringing the Publin Park up to grade, was laid on the table for t
two weeks, and the Park Committee was instructed to look up gays and
means for accomplishing it.

P. ,'ilson and carried, the resignation of Frank J. Knight as Street I

Superintendent was accepted.
On motion of Trustee J. J. Schnitker seconded by Trustee O.Ii.
3ur'se and carried, Frank :,. Rine_iart was appointed Street Superintendent.
Some matters pertaining to the new severer system were �
discussed and settled, and on Notion of Trustee J. J. Schnitker
seconded by Trustee Geo. P. Ylilson and carried,.the meeting adjourr_ec

The Board of Trustees of the City of ':ewport Beach met in
adjourned session at 7:30 o'clock P. 1% on above date. The meeting
,;;as called to order by President J. P. Greeley.
The roll was called showing the full Board present.
The minutes of the previous meeting of Earch 13th were read
and approved..
The communications were read and referred to the proper orde
of business.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS.
ORDINANCE NO. 195, entitled as follows:
"An Ordinance of the City of Newport Beach b-y the
legislative branch thereof, to -wit: the Board of Truste
ordering the submission to the qualified voters of the
City of Newport Beach the proposition of incurring a
bonded debt for the purpose set forth in Resolution lo.
154 of the said City, calling a special election for
that purpose, reciting the objects and purposes for whi
the indebtedness is proposed to be incurred, the estima
cost of the proposed public improvement, the amount of
the principal of the indebtedness to be incurred t'-:eref
and fixing a maximum rate of interest to be paid on sai
indebtedness, fixing the day on which L'uch especial
election shall be held, the manner of holding such

election, and the voting for or against incurring such
indebtedness, and provicing that in all particulars not
recited in this Ordinance, such election shall be held
as provided by law for holding municipal elections in
the City of Newport Beach ",

f license No. 77 to Percy J. Wilson was granted.
On motion of Trustee Geo. P. Wilson seconded by Trustee
onrad Richter and carried, the application of Pars. A. E. Grahar.. for
ransfer of her Fish I.:arket License No. 172 to Robert Anders was
ranted.
On motion of Trustee 0. 1?. Burke seconded by Tru stee J. J.
chnitker and carried, the Street Committee were authorized to
urchase the necessary lumber for building a platform on each sida
f the 3alboa I.:ain Street '.Jharf and also the lumber for the land end
f the wharf in accordance with report of Inspector A. .1. Jackson.

lson and carried, the Street Committee were authorized to provide
e necessary labor to make the additions to the P`.ain Street VPharf.
On motion of Trustee J. J. Schnitker seconded by Trustee Goo
