On motion of Trustee H. C. Sloan seconded by Trustee :Teo. P.
!ilson and carried, the :-ngineerinl Department was instructed to furnish
the Ci;v Attorney rtith the proper description of the bay front property
at Last Newport where it is contemplated to build. a retaining =:!all so
that he can ascertain the ormers to have it deeded to the city.
'T'rus'tee Conrad Richter introduced a resolution detormining
unpaid assessments, the aggregate thereof, for the work done and
improvement made on STRE.JT .J "D OTT,: S'i'R s ;` S pursuant to
Resolution of Intention _:o. 158, ordering bonds to be issued therefor.
The Resolution was ordered filed, read, considered; and
designated Resolution .o. 210 and passed by the followin- voto:

Cilkinson, that no claim for printing is to be audited or paid until
accompanied by an affidavit of publication showing it to be a just claim
for which it is made, was carried by the folloriing vote:

15,000.00 covcrin� the purchase of the Southern Pacific '.:harf for Which
condemnation suit was started, by the following; vote:

On motion of Trustee L. S. ':ilkinson seconded by Trustee K.C.
Sloan and carried, the meeting adjourned to 7:30 o'clock P. i. on
I:onday, December 18, 1922.

The Board of Trustees of the City of i.ermort Beach met in
regular adjourned session at 7:30 o'clock P. I:. on above date. The
meeting was called to order by President J. J. Schnitker.
The roll was called showing the full Board present.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
The communications were read and referred to the proper order
of business.

Trustee H. C. Sloan introduced the following resolution:
GIHER' {;AS, Ferdinand n. Bain is the owner and holder of that
certain real property located in the City of i'.ewport Beach, Orange
County, California particularly described as:
Parcel 1.
Beginnin at VFe northwest corner of Lot 10 of a resub-
division of Block 227, Section "A" Newport Beach, as shown upon a ::ap
thereof recorded in Book 4, page 36, I.iscellaneous Baps, records of
Orange County, and running thence northeasterly a distance of 118.4 feet
to the most northerly corner of said Lot 10; thence southeasterly along
the northeasterly line of said Lot 10 - 100 feet; thence southwesterly
and parallel to the northwesterly line of said Lot 10 to a point in the
southwesterly line of said Lot 10; thence northwesterly along said
