The Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach, met in
regular session on the above date, at 7:30 P.Y. T
' The meeting was called to order by President, Geo.P@ Wilson.
The roll was called showing the full board present except Trustee
Conrad Richter who was absent on leave.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Communication were read and referred to the proper order of business
In the matter of the proposed improvement of certain
portions of Park Avenue and certain other streets and avenues on
Balboa Island, This being the time fixed by Resolution of Intention No.323
passed on the 16th day of February,1925 for hearing protests inthe
matter of the improvement therein described, and no written protests
havinP been filed with the City Clerk, in said matter, and no person
desiring to be heard in the matter of said protests;
I'1HEREUP6K, Trustee Sloan moved that Resolution No.32Z,
Entitled:
"A REBOLTITION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF
NE IPORT BEACH ORDERING I &iPROVEHENT OF 8ERTAIN PORTIONS OF PARK AVENUE
AND CERTAIN OTHER STREETS AND AVENUES ON BALBOA ISLANDO VITHIN SAID
CITY"
be adopted,-which motion was seconded by Trustee Young
and carried by the following vote:
Ayes, Trustees Geo.P: "rlilson, H.C.Sloan,Fred Young and
L. S . °'ilkinson.
Noes: Trustees, None.
Absent: Trustee Conrad Richter,

Trustee Wilkinson moved the adoption of the following:

on.motion_of'trustee Wilkinson, seconded by trustee Sloan and
carried, tract maps No.748 and No. 751 havinb been considered were
authorized-,approved by the Board of Trustees when appnoved by the City
Engineer.
Representatives of the porject known as the Mosquito
Abatement District were present at the meeting and requested the Board
to pass a resolution including the City of Newport Beach in the District
The matter having been presented, on motion of Trustee Wilkinson,
seconded by trustee Sloan.,-and carried, the matter was referred to City
Health Officer J.A.Porter for investigation and report at the next meeting.
There being no further business, on motion of trustee W'-l.ifi__
seconded by trustee Sloan and carried, the med3ting was adjourned,sine die.
