The matter of ;-riving H. Estus a contract for tha instal -
ation of ;;as plats, etc., in the City Carp Grounds 'is concession,
was discussed to great length. The Board being unable to a;;ree with
kr. Estus in the cdrawirg of the contract,, cropped the matter entirely,
and ordered the communication filed.
. On motion of Trustee Wilkinson, seconded by Trustee ]:our,;,

on motion of Trustee Wilkinson, seconded by Trustee Young,
and carried, the demands, as signed by the finance committee, were
approved and warrants ordered drawn.
Mr. K. I. Fulton addressed the Board and stated that the
people at Corona Del liar were desirous of having some fire protection,
and suggested that a hose reel for at least 300 feet of hose be pur-
chased. There being no objections, the matter was referred to the
fire and water committee, and the fire chief.
Antar Derara addressed the Board and stated that the Pennin-
sular lighting endangered navigation through the harbor entrance, and
requested that the globes immediately adjacent to the water be painted
on one side.
On motion of Trustee Richter, seconded by Trustee Wilkinson,
and carried, Deraga was ordered to carry out the improvements as sug-
gested.
The City Marshal, J. A. Porter, reported two propositions
that had been offered him for the purchase of a new Dodge car for the
Police Department. There being no objection, the matter was refeffired
to the police committee for investigation and report.
There being no further business, on motion of Trustee Young,
seconded by Trustee Richter, and carried, the meeting was adjourned
to December 14, 1925, at 7:30 otelock P. Pi.
