Newport Beach, June 27, 1934.
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach met in the Council
Chambers of the City of Newport Beach at 11.00 o'clock a. m. on above
date in a Special session called by Mayo'`�ftr the purpose of considering
the granting of cert&in property rights and easements to the Government
of the United States in connection with the proposed harbor improvements
at Newport Beach.
The toll was called showing the full Council present, excepting
Councilman Gordon, who was absent.
The call of the Special meeting, which had been duly signed
by four members of the Council was read and on motion of Councilman
Claire, seconded by Councilman Garfield and carried, ordered filed.
City Engineer Patterson presented Maps J -1 -A, J -a-A, J -4, J -5,
and J -6, which were on motion of Councilman Claire, seconded by Councilman
Garfield and carried, approved.
Resolution No.831 outlining the details, purposes and steps
to be taken for which the Special meeting was called was introduced by
Councilman Claire, seconded by Councilman Garfield and adopted by the
following roll call vote, to -wit:
AYES: Councilmen Claire, Ellsworth, Garfield, Ailmer.
NOES: Councilmen None.
ABSENT: Councilmen Gordon.
All business for which the Special meeting was called having
been disposed of, a motion to adjourn Sine Die was made by Councilman
Claire, seconded by Councilman Garfield and carried.
