Newport Beach, July 28, 1942.
Res. 2644 Councilman Reed moved the adoption of Resolution No. 2644, being a'
lease of Irwin resolution authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute on behalf of the City
Building of Newport Beach a lease for the Irwin building at 110 McFadden Place for the use
of the local Civilian Defense Council. The motion was duly seconded by Councilman
Allen and the resolution adopted by the following vote, to -wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Gordon, Allen, Isbell, Reed, Hall.
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: None.
Installation of
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach met in adjourned regular

carried. On motion of Councilman Allen, seconded by Councilman Gordon and carried,
the Board of Equalization adjourned Sine Die.
