Roll call The roll was called, Councilmen Finch, smith, and Bennett being present. In the absence of Mayor Miller, the City Clerk, acting as Mayor pro tem, called for the nomination of Mayor pro tem. Councilman Finch moved that Councilman .Smith serve as Smith serve as Mayor pro tem. The motion was seconded by Mayor pro tem Councilman Bennett and carried by the following roll call vote, to -wit: AYES, COUNCILMEN: Finch, Bennett, and Smith NOES, COUNCILMEN: None ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: Miller, and Isbell Reading of minutes On motion of Councilman Finch, seconded by Council- waived man Bennett and carried, reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was waived.
