The City Council of the City of Newport Beach met in regular .
session in the Council Chamber of the City Hall at the hour of
7:30 p.m. '
The roll was called, the following members being present:
Roll Call Smith, Finch, Isbell, Bennett, & Miller.
Minutes approved On motion of Councilman Isbell, seconded by Councilman Bennett,
and carried, the reading of the minutes was waived and they were
declared approved as written.
On motion of Councilman Isbell, seconded by Councilman Finch,
certain demands were approved and ordered paid, having been approved

The Park, Beach and Recreation Commission recommended the
P.B.&R. Comm. requested paving of a walk down the south side of Carnation Avenue, Corona del
sidewalk down So. side Mar, the work to be done by the Street Department at a cost estimated
of Carnation Ave. at between $250 -300. •
Work ordered done. On motion of Councilman Finch, seconded by Councilman Bennett,
and carried, the communication was ordered filed. On motion of
Councilman Finch, seconded by Councilman Bennett, the recommendation
was approved and the work ordered done by the following roll call '
vote, to wit:

The League of Civic Associations urged the establishment

carried, the letter was referred to the City Manager, Mayor and
