April 12th, 1954
• The City Council of the City of Newport Beach met in
regular session in the Council Chamber of the City Hall at the
hour of 7:30 p.m.
' The roll was called, the following members being present: Roll Call
Smith, Finch:,. Isbell, Bennett, and Miller.
On motion of Councilman Finch, seconded by Councilman
Smith and carried, the reading of the minutes was waived and Minutes approved

Regular monthly demands, having been approved by the

On motion of Councilman Smith, seconded by Councilman Bid - awarded to 0. Scrofani
Finch, and carried, the bid of 0. Scrofani was accepted and the
Mayor and City Clerk authorized to execute the contract by the
following roll call vote, to wit:

The City Manager reported that he had received five iden-
tical bids for providing the city with electric light bulbs
during the ensuing year. On motion of Councilman Bennett,
seconded by Councilman Smith, the contract was awarded, in
rotation, to the Lido Electric Company by the following roll
call vote, to wit:

NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: None
On motion of Councilman Isbell, seconded by Councilman
Bennett and carried, the meeting was adjourned until Tuesday,
