The City Couhcil of the City of Newport Beach met in the Council Special meeting at the

Consent and Waiver of notice having been signed by all Councilmen Consent & Waiver on file
and now on file in the City Clerk's office, Mayor Hill called the Roll Call.

present: Councilmen Bennett, Wilder, MacKay, Stoddard, Higbie, Ridderhof,
and Hill.
On motion of Councilman Stoddard, seconded by Councilman Wilder and Meeting closed to

meeting hereby be closed to the public during the discussion thereon.
On motion of Councilman Stoddard, seconded by Councilman MacKay and
carried, the meeting was declared open to the public. Mayor Hill then
stated that she had in her possession the resignation from the City Clerk
and City.Treaaurer, said resignation to become effective immediately
and requested said resignation to be read to the public, thereupon
Councilman Stoddard read the resignation of C.K. Priest as City Clerk
and City Treasurer. On motion of Councilman Wilder, seconded by
Councilman MacKay, the resignation was accepted by the following roll
call vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN9 Wilder, MacKay, Stoddard, Higbie, Ridderhof, Hill.
COUNCILMAN Bennett passing his vote.
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: None.
On motion of Councilman Stoddard, seconded by Councilman Wilder and
carried, the meeting was adjourned.
