Finch; and
"WHEREAS, Mr. Finch served the City of Newport Beach
.as. a Councilman. from April 18„ 1950. to April 20,. 1954;

- 'IWHEREAS, Mr. Finch.has: been- active as a -civic leader
and outstanding, business. executive. for many years._in our
community, and has been nationally recognized. as, one- of
the foremost breeders of afghan. hounds; and. among rhis
activities,: has, served. as Foreman of the Orange County
Grand Jury,. as President of. the, Newport Harbor Cha:nbe
of Commerce, as President of .the Corona del Mar
Chamber of Commerce;: and. as President of the- Corona
del Mar Civic Association;
