The City Clerk announced that in addition to the letters listed on the agenda, numbering 168, there were 42 letters received from people opposing Ordinance No. 1101. The following persons spoke from the audience opposing Ordinance No. 1101: Nelda Gibson, who presented a petition containing 52 signatures in opposition; William Buckley, who presented petitions containing 57 signature in opposition; Ed Riddle, President -Elect of the Newport Harbor Board of Realtors, who presented a letter in opposition from said organization; Ralph Hinger, Realtor Mrs, George Huntington.
