opposing the removal of the palm tree, was presented.

Stewart spoke from the audience. Mr. Beloin pre-
sented an additional petition purporting to have approxi-
mately 160 signatures in favor of saving the palm tree.

year. (The City Attorney advised later during a
further discussion of weed abatement that this could
be done under the Code. )

Habra, complaining about "an unjust fine" received
for drinking beer at Corona del Mar beach, and

stated that he had investigated the matter and the signs
are adequately posted.
