Appli- cation filed by Russell Harriman requesting a change of zone from R -3 to R -2 and R -1 for the purpose of constructing duplexes and dwellings on Tract 6466, located at the southeasterly corner of "F" Street and Balboa Blvd. , was presented with the findings of the Planning Commission. Councilman Parsons made a motion to instruct the City Attorney to revise the boundaries in the proposed ordinance, which motion was withdrawn. Roll Call: Ayes Absent Councilman Parsons made a motion to instruct the Motion City Attorney to prepare a new ordinance relating to the sale of food products on public streets, revising the boundaries and modifying the prohibition of the sale of food products to those intended for immediate consumption only. Galvin Keene, attorney, spoke from the audience opposing the intent of subject ordinance. A discussion was had. A vote was taken on Councilman Parsons' motion, Ayes which motion carried. A memorandum from the City Manager dated October 23, 1967 regarding community antenna television services in Newport Beach was presented. Mr. John Frost, President of Pacific Cable Services, Inc., introduced Mr. Arthur Dunn, Assistant Vice President of Pacific Telephone Company, who discussed their forthcoming contract with Pacific Cable Services. A discussion was had. Basse, Foreman of the Grand Jury, enclosing a resolution regarding conformity to the Vehicle Code by the Police Departments in Orange County was considered. Councilman Cook stated that the record should show statement by the City Manager in answer to the question, "Do we in this City conform to the Vehicle Code in every way relative to traffic tickets ?"
