HomeMy WebLinkAboutTS096 0 SEE GPA 93-2(A) for PLANNING COMMISSION AND CITY COUNCIL STAFF REPORTS AND MINUTES. �-( �Cc NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Newport Beach will hold a public hearing on the application of Ford Motor Land Development Corporation for General Plan Amendment 93-2(A), Amendment No. 800 to the Aeronutronic Ford Planned Community District Regulations, Tentative Map of Tract No. 14925, and Development Agreement No. 8, on property located at 1000 Ford Road. The proposed applications are described as follows: General Plan Amendment 93 2(A) Request to amend the Land Use Element of the General Plan so as to reclassify Area 4 of the Ford Aeronutronic Planned Community from "General Industrial" to "Single Family Attached and "Single Family Detached" and to establish an additional residential development allocation of 500 dwellin umts at an average density of 5.1 dwelling units per acre. Amendment No 800 Request to amend the Planned Community Development Regulations of the Ford Aeronutronic Planned Community so as to redesignate Area 4 from "Research and Development_ to `Attached/Detached Residential Area 4A" and "Detached Residential Areas 4B 4C 41) & 4E". The proposed amendment also includes the adoption of residential development standards for Areas_4A-4E. Tentative Map of Tract No. 14925: R uest to subdivide 98.1 acres of land into 25 lots for a combination of attached and detached residential development 9 lettered lots for private street purposes and 5 lettered lots for private landscaping purposes. Development Agreement No 8• RNuest to approve a development agreement for the proposed construction of 500 dwellinr*units in Area 4 of the Ford Aeronutronic Planned Community. NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that a Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) has been prepared in connection with the application noted above. Interested persons are encouraged to review this document and submit any comments they may wish to make. Copies of the DEIR and supporting documents are available for review at the Planning Department, City of Newport Beach, 3300 Newport Boulevard, Newport Beach, California, 92659-1768 (714) 644-3225. The public comment period for the Draft EIR closes at 5.00 p.m. on Thursday.June 1, 1995. NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that the public hearing will be held on the 8th day of June, 1995, at the hour of 7:30 p.m, in the Council Chambers of the Newport Beach City Hall, 3300 Newport Boulevard, Newport Beach, California, at which time anyone with an interest in the project may offer testimony to the Planning Commission. If you challenge this project in court,you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered to the City at, or prior to, the public hearing.
