City Council Members,
Please do not let the Fairview Center be used for virus victims, it is too close to homes, schools, the community. In your
meeting today, please argue that this space is not appropriate as it would endanger the community.
Medical facilities in more rural or contained areas should be used.
As stewards of our city, please hear our voices and support the families and community the way we are asking. .
Thank you for your commitment to ensuring our health and safety.

Re: Using the state owned facility in Costa Mesa for individuals
infected with the Coronavirus
Dear Rep. Rouda,
We are residents of Costa Mesa and are outraged with the sudden
decision by our Governor Newsom regarding transporting infected
individuals to this location.
Costa Mesa is surrounded by cities with high - density population. Just
with one individual walking around the surrounding areas, we all can be
at risk. According to Google 2017 population estimates, Costa Mesa
had 113,825 residents. Adding the surrounding cities:
Newport Beach (86, 160,) Irvine (282,572), Huntington Beach
(201,874), Fountain Valley (56,313) and Santa Ana (334,136).
Total of 1.074.880 residents
The economic impact will be felt in our communities. Who will
bring their family to a favorite place as Disneyland, not too far
from a nearby facility housing individuals infected with a deadly
virnc?
We need leaders that can give thoughtful considerations for the
imnlementation of their decisions and be totallv aware of
consequences that their actions can bri
